After thinking about it, I know an easy way to describe this fragrance; if you remove the neroli from Creed's Neroli Sauvage and replace it with pineapple and keep the woody base of NS, this is what Aventus smells like..Neroli Sauvage with Neroli removed, pineapple added, and the woody base. Longevity is better with Aventus as well.Smells nice and clean and lasts long. There is not much development but then it is a Creed. Better than most of Creed and many other "Niches". The fanboys make it a bit hard to like the fragrance but that is not Aventus' fault. If the price was better it would be a thumbs up.
Rose 31 is about double the price of Aventus for the same ml. I own Aventus, but the batch variations are making me upset (ordered a decant which I know will come as a smokey batch.) I wish somebody would do a 500 ml split of Rose 31. 500 ml = $700. So 50 ml = $70 + shipping + cost of decant = ~$80. Which is better than $145 they .
